Canon 5035/5051 Black smudge back of page.

    Canon 5035/5051 Black smudge back of page.

    Have a weird issue that has recently been showing up on a lot of clients machines. When printing the front of the page is clear but on the back there is a thick black smudge on the left hand side of the page, this would happen both single sided and duplex. Have changed developers, drums, toners, fusers, transfer belts and the secondary transfer roller and its still the same. Has anyone encountered this issue before?

      have you cleaned the paper path,duplex specifically ? I have seen build up of loose toner in that area that causes similar issues on ALL brands

          Yes I have cleaned the path, Happens on both single sided and duplex. happens randomly too wouldn't be every page.
