    Canon IR 5570/Error code

    HI,
    Im getting Error Code E000100-0001At power up(approx 15-20 seconds after turning on).Can you tell me What code refers to,and any possible thing I can do to solve problem.

    Hi,
    Pls check if the screw tab of primary fan duct has been broken? and then check laser unit

      HI,
      Thanks for reply.Could you tell me where I the fan is located where I need to look for screw?also how can I check to see if it is definitely laser unit as they are a couple hundred bucks to replace.
      Are there any other possibilities?

        Fan Duct

        Its the cover that's in the front of the main unit when you open front door. Its the one that covers the primary charging ass'y, beneath the the toner hopper. I believe it has yellow warning sticker if im not mistaking.

            Canon IR 5570/Laser Code

            HI,
            I went to Customer this AM and The screw on FAN FILTER(I hope that was one I was supposed to look at,Adjustable slot).It was ok .The filter seemed to not be flush,so I taped it to frame.The machine started working.I was afraid to do anything else.Is this a possibility or do you trhink my laser is erractically working(the machine had been unplugged for 3 days.Thanks for any help,

              there is a peg on the rear cover on fan box that does the laser shutter-order the rear cover or the whole fan box to stop it happening again.

                Thanks for prompt reply. Im not that familiar withy machine,could you tell me part number to order.I know this is a pain in butt to ask,but this way I know Ill be ordering what I need.
