canon ir8285 feeder problem.

when machine is turn on. Machine can operate as usual. When using feeder for photocopy, and jam code occur, shown remove the paper. Nothing inside but still showing the jam. I need to restart machine so that it is back to normal. Once i using the feeder. Same problem come again. Anyone have the kind of problem before?? Please help. Your help are really needed. Thank you.

we faced the same problem and follow the following steps:
[Symptom]

A jam code of 0094 is being generated in the Feeder. Sensors PCB4 and PCB5 were replaced, because both sensors were showing paper present. An RCON clear was performed to no avail. All wiring was checked from the sensor; through the DF Driver, and then out to the Reader Controller. The Reader Controller was replaced, but the jam was still occurring.

• 0094: All feed sensor Power ON

All Feed Sensors include the following:
Delivery Sensor (PCB5): COPIER > IO > R-CON > P006 > bit 3 (0: Paper presence)
Read Sensor 2 (SR5): COPIER > IO > R-CON > P006 > bit 2 (0: Paper presence)
Read Sensor 1 (PCB4): COPIER > IO > R-CON > P006 > bit 1 (0: Paper presence)
Registration Sensor (PCB3): COPIER > IO > R-CON > P006 > bit 0 (0: Paper presence)
Delay sensor (SR4): COPIER > IO > R-CON > P006 > bit 5 (0: Paper presence)
Post-separation Sensor 3 (PCB2): COPIER > IO > R-CON > P006 > bit 4 (0: Paper presence)

[Remedy]

In this case, the DF Driver PCB was replaced, to resolve the issue. Part Number for the DF Driver is FM0-0717
But in final solved as mentioned by replacing pcb (FM0-0717)

Check the sensor as the paper makes the turn down towards the glass. I've had the receiver come off and shift. Not sure if the same feeder style. Whats the jam code? That will help you pin point it.

I think I saw this before. Check and make sure the reflector guide didn't get knocked out of place.
