    IRADVC2020

Fighting a problem with an IRADVC2020 giving E225-0001 codes. When it doesn't give a code the
copies and scans come out faded on one side. Print jobs and test prints from the copier come out
okay. The machine also showed E732-0010 and E315-0510 on the list.

Not sure how to proceed without spare parts to use to test. I know the manual says for E225-0001
to check connection or replace flexible cable. I assume they mean the cable to the scanner assembly?

Has anyone else ran into this problem?

No, the customer called about the E225-0001 code. Hadn't seen the machine for quite some time.

I tried cleaning the scanner section and reseating connectors. Nothing seemed to help.

Replace the scanner unit (CCD unit) - and do the set up procedure in service mode. Have had them go faulty on IRADV2225 models in the past.

Before replacing a bunch of parts, try performing the adjustments in service mode for COPIER>FUNCTION>CCD>DF-WLVL1 and DF-WLVL2

See if it makes a difference.
I would also make sure the firmware is up to date.
