[Misc] PC-850 very dark copies

Attempting to repair a PC-850 which has gradually made darker and darker copies over time. Is there an exposure setting for this machine? Service menu?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Old machine. I think there was a vr on the main board if I remember but it may just simply be dirty optics or the cartridge. Good luck getting one.
