Hi everybody,
First I apologize for my english and I hope I use correctly this forum.
I read with attention technical forum about installation of software of ImagePass B1 and ImagePass B2 from the USB Prep Tool CD to a USB flash drive.
My problem is that I search on all the CD I have with my Canon Printer C5030 and my Fiery W10-01 ImagePass B1 and I don't find the USB Prep Tool CD.
I went on EFI website to find this software but nothing for the ImagePass B1, I only find the software for ImagePass B2 for Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5255/ C5250/ C5240/ C5235.
So my question is :
- can I install the software of ImagePass B2 on my Fiery W10-01
or
- does someone can help me to find the USB Prep Tool CD and the system software or an iso file with the system sofware to re-intall the ImagePass B1 software on my Fiery?
I have two machines Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5030 with Fiery and now none works.
First one didn't work and I put the Fiery of the other one on it and it works again. So I made a clone of the hard disk of the Fiery and put it on the other Fiery. And after the Canon C5030 was working again with the two Fiery.
But when I turn on the two machine with Fiery with exact clone hard disk, one start to not work and now both are out of service.
The Touch Panel still displays the message, “Wait a moment (Check the power source of the printer server behind the main unit and cable connection if the display does not change in a moment.)” , sometimes it comes to "please wait" but never the machine reach to communicate with the Fiery.
When I scanned the IP chain I don't see any of them.
If I put a monitor on the Fiery, the message is "Uncompresssing Linux ... Ok, booting the kernel."
And nothing more.
I precise that I'm not an expert, I just want to save my two machines who still working perfectly before this problem of Fiery that makes them unusable.
I suppose it is problem of software on ImagePass because it started to work with the hard disk of another Fiery.
I suppose that with a clone of the hard disk on the same network, it happened a kind of conflict and I have to re-install properly the software on the two Fiery.
Thanks for your help.
Good kisses from France
