Hi team,
This ImagePress is setup inline with an H1 stacker, and a PlockMatic BLM50 booklet maker with face trim.
The copier was previously working fine with all accessories attached, then suddenly after a reboot it stopped recognizing the stacker.
A tech and I, miss properly diagnosed the problem as the main circuit board in the H1 stacker needing replacement.
The new board (PBAP,STACKER_SPIDER_IO) was installed, and nothing changed.
Tech support seemed to think that replacing only one board isn't enough, and that the controller board connecting to the BLM 50, also needs replacement.
I now think we are moving in the wrong direction. The Service Mode interface was not backed up, and I think it needs to be restored to the previous state before the stacker dropped off line. All the circuit boards in the H1 stacker look healthy (status lights present). Maybe a flash is necessary in Service Mode? To get the system to recognize the stacker again?
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
