If you mean the 101...103 meters...then NO.
It's illegal to do so...it's like turning back the odometer on a vehicle.
If you mean parts counts...then yes...you can change the value of most parts in service mode.

Its possible but as OZE stated, It's illegal to do so... you need the counter pcb which is a controlled part by Canon.

I agree, machine should be sold as is. There is a big difference in price in getting an ir 5070 with 100k vs. 1.5 million. Stop being greedy and price it accordingly and if it is a owner of a business who is asking for this info, tell him to pound salt.

What version of SST are you using, Because i never heard of resetting counters using SST. Who told you that. Whether renting or refurbishing or selling copiers with meters being tamper with is illegal and its fraud

                        Law suit or criminal charges...

Forget resetting the counters and just do the math. You have a starting meter already.Go with that and leave it at that.

That's all that we do....write down the start meter.
Clearing the counters IS against the law...you can be charged with Fraud..NO MATTER WHAT COUNTRY YOU RESIDE.
