    [Misc] Registration problem

    Hello!
We have a Canon ImagePress C6000 VP that has registration problems after we changed an M image drum.
ITB looks good and we haven't had any problems before with the registration.
Anyone have any idea what it might be?
    Regards

In service mode run Copier>Function>Misc-P>AT-IMG-X this runs a series of image position correction adjustments

      Hello!
We have tried this and the result is a "NG" message.
This could indicate that ITB is bad, but we are pretty sure that is not the case!

        HI
It seems that the registration is skewed on paper (see picture)
It is ok on one side.
        How to adjust it?

        Regards

Hate to say this but it is likely your ITB. had an c8000 do this with yellow being the problem color, the belt only had 200 k on it but had weird wear patterns where the patch sensors were reading the patches.

            Hi!
Now I have tried an old ITB that we changed a year ago (it worked then, but has small white dots).
Exactly the same problem with registration with this ITB! ( see attached picture)
            Must be something else !?

you said this all started when you changed the magenta drum, I am guessing you have double checked your work (self inflected wounds are the worst) have you tried swapping laser units ?

It's also light on the one side...did you do itb-init? Patch reader clean? External secondary roll ok?I've had bad lasers do this on irac 5000s, 5200s,etc. Pop the old drum back in for starters...

                        Re: Registration problem

Good Morning. I put a procedure that I have had to do several times and it has solved the problem. I hope it helps you. Luck

Manual adjustment of laser offset and error E194

                        1. Enter service mode and set COPIER-> FUNCTION-> INSTALL-> AINR-0FF with value 1
                        2. Make a grid impression with TEST-> TYPE by a 6
                        3. Check the obliqueness of the laser on the right side above and on the right side below
                        4. In the example we have (mm):
                        Above: K = 5.7 C = 5.5 M = 5.5 Y = 5
                        Down: K = 6.4 C = 5.4 M = 5.4 Y = 7
                        5. We proceed as follows.
We look only at the bottom
If it is necessary to bring it closer to the edge, we will put positive values, otherwise negative. You have to make it parallel with the one above
We are going to COPY-> ADJUST-> LASER-> LNSMTR- (Y / M / K / C) and we put values in multiples of +/- 300 depending on whether we need to zoom in or out of the edge of the sheet
                        In the example we put K = + 300, C = 0, M = 0 and Y = + 300
Write down the values you put on the sheet and so you will have a good reference to vary them
Now we go to LEVEL2 and. We enter COPIER-> FUNCTION-> LASER-> LD-ADJ- (Y / M / C / K) and execute the laser or lasers that we are adjusting. This serves to give you an initial position
We go back to LEVEL1 and do the test-> PGTYPE6
We check and go back to until they are all parallel. The registration does not need to match, only that each laser is parallel to the edge of the sheet. They are usually 5.5 mm from the edge of the sheet
. When they have similar values above and below (for example that they go in 0.3mm) run the test COPIER-> FUNCTION-> MISC-P-> AT-IMG-X. If it comes out ok we are done. If not, start again
