[Error Code] E000246-002 Error - C5035i IR Advance

I was initially receiving a E602-4000 error, however I installed a new hard and reformatted it with the up-to-date firmware, and I am now receiving a E000246-002 error. Any ideas are greatly appreciated thank you.

Its a problem with the counter pcb.

Thank you Skynet for your response, I changed the counter PCB and it didn't resolve the error.

No unfortunately, just now the machine is showing a E000355-0004.????

Thanks Giogi,

After going to (COPIER > Display > USER > SPDTYPE (Level1)) I get a sprint speed of 30. What do I need to check this against?

30 matches the small printed label on the side of PCB 1

I cleared the error code and this is what is displayed in Level 1 Error Display

1. E0613-1536
2. E0732-9999
3. E0355-0004

if your machine is a 5035 it is wrong to install the MAIN controller of the 5035

Errors 355 & 246 are related to, if you search the forum the counter memory circuit. These 2 boards cannot be swapped between machines and doing so generates the errors mentioned earlier. The solution for these errors as per the service manual is usually something like "contact the sales office where you purchased the machine"
You need to put back the original boards.

I was supplied a PCB 1 board from a 5030 it seems, so the 5030 although it fits perfectly will not work on this 5035, is that right.

Correct different part number put the machine with correct boards and call out a trained service engineer
