ImageRunner C2550 - Scan To Print perfect but Printing from printer has lines/faded

hello all, below are 2 images of what i'm getting when i try to print, the good print is from the copier/scanner to print. The 2nd one is when i try to print from my computer. Not sure why it doesn't print good when i print from my computer but when i copy or scan something it prints perfect. thank you in advance.

Try a different print driver perhaps. If it is a PDF try a different PDF reader such as Foxit.

sorry not sure what a pdf reader has anything to do with this? i'm just copying from the scanner, that works greats, i'm not printing pdfs, i'm printing from adobe illustrator, but no matter where i print from it prints same way, with faded lines. i'm wondering why printing from computer prints different than when scan printing.

try saving file as a word document and print

same result. doesn't matter where the print is coming from on the computer, stil prints with lines like that. not sure why this happens from computer but not from scan.

It would help if you could describe what software you're using to print, and if it is a PDF file, or what kind of file.

I've seen settings in Adobe Acrobat cause things similar to, but not as drastic as what you show there. Here's a wild guess, if you're using Adobe Acrobat, in the print dialog box, click Advanced, then in Color Management, Color Handling, select Printer Color Management. I've changed to using that for all my PDF prints to Canon copiers. But I could be way off the mark as you could be using TIFF files for all I know.

i'm printing using adobe illustrator, i tried changing color settings and still prints with same quality. i tried to also save as a pdf and print same way, same results. Tried saving it as an image .png and printing from word and same thing. very odd.

two possible options try using the ufr11 driver or convert to pdf and when you go to print witin pdf settings set to 'print as image'
