    I need help with canon ir2870

    Hello, can someone tell me what is causing this and how to repair it. Picture is in attachment. Thanks

    Probably registration clutch and/or roller. Maybe fuser film hesitating if the grease has dried up

      Do five copies of the same thing, as you see the first sheet start to exit jam the machine and look at the previous pages.

        i cleaned registration roler, its not on every copy, sometimes its every fifth, sometimes every 6. fuser film is on 70k.When i rotate paper in casete to a4r there is no problem

          I would change the reg clutch. Old machine so if it's never been changed it's worth a try. When you change to A4R, you have more help from the vertical rollers to help push the copy cleanly thru the reg area. Have you tried the second tray to eliminate the paper feed unit?

            Yes i am tried with second tray. I will try with clutch, i think is never been changed. Thanks

                This metal bit can cause weird problems if its not touching the roller.

                  check the drum unit and its movement , maybe the gears in the unit are not moving correctly. Again check the fuser unit gears.
