Gp225 doc feeder

Here's a good one GP225 document feeder, put original on feeder tray and press start button, little arm flicks over and thats it, does not indicate jam just says "reload originals" in display. The only way to reset this is to switch machine off and on again. It will not reset any other way.

If you go into service mode and run the df feed motors then try and use the feeder it works but only once! then you are back to original problem. Have metered the cable that runs to the lid and it is ok. Have checked sensors in I/O mode and they are all ok.

Any ideas???

if memory serves me right when you have to power down to reset the machine this indicates a sensor gone high . you have eliminated the usual cover cable so i would be looking further into it..what jam code is displayed in service mode?
