    Canon ir1435if unable to print due to toner related error message

    Hi there
    Has anyone had this issue?
    I am working on a Canon ir143if and the following message is stopping it from working: The remaining toner info cannot be detected properly. A non canon cartridge or a cartridge with the wrong item number may be inserted, or no cartridge is inserted.

    Admittedly this problem was not there initially, I removed the developer unit to blow out paper dust and re-inserted the dev unit several times now but this message keeps coming up!

    I was wondering if anyone has had this before and could possibly shed light on the matter?

    ps. toner is good , new oem one tried as precaution

    Verify that no tape from toner is stuck in machine. Next try a new drum unit.
