Canon IR 5570 Lead Edge fade

I'm more a Ricoh tech, but have worked a fair amount on these Canon IR's.

Have an IR 5570 started out where it would very intermittently not transfer the image, on the lead edge ( see sample )
Now 2 of 5 pages come out with the lead edge poorly transferred / faded.
This unit has over 2 million pages, I believe it's the original drum. Otherwise copies are excellent.

I have a working 5070, tried changing the transfer corona assembly, the end block where the assembly inserts, the development unit. Tried adjusting voltages in adjustments screen. Same problem

Any help is greatly appreciatedCanon IR5570.JPG

Thanks Brian, but I am using quality paper, and I have 2 units in the same room using the same paper. I believe this is some kind of separation or transfer issue. Or High voltage short / leak

There is a cable from back of T/S unit to the HVT. How about legal or ltrr?

I have checked that cable, Looks normal, and I re-seated. still faded
Regarding the "block" on the rear frame ( Machine) that the T/S unit drawer inserts into - is it known to fail and short ? Or the HV board ?

          Thanks again for any assistance
