    [Error Code] Canon iPF755 Error - 2F3A

    Happy Sunday,

I wanted to get some techs opinion on where to go with this repair. Plotter just started throwing this code. I am not able to get into normal service mode, the small "S" pops up when I hold the buttons but it just never kicks in. Just goes into the error state. I have removed the covers and the ink supply units on both sides. With my hand, I manually rotated the gears and saw the cycle complete as far as I can tell.

Started searching around and seen here that it may also be the Purge Unit. Or worst case Main PCB. Should I look at getting a new purge unit? I reseated the inks as well as the print head with no change. I have not attempted Firmware yet as it doesn't seem to get into that state to preform.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Any idea about the not being able to get into service mode?

Learning now about the Download Mode. I assume I should look at entering that mode and loading the firmware. I am using my MAC. I found an update tool so I feel I should be able to complete this. Or am I going to need to load firmware a different way?
