    Canon iR 3225 freezes/hangs

I am maintaining a Canon iR 3225. The copier hangs couple of times every day. The screen does not accept any command, the panel does not accept any command, no print out comes out, even the RUI does not come up. But the PING command works. After rebooting, it works fine for sometime and then again the same problem starts.

I have changed the IP board, hard disk, counter and RAM but to no avail.

    Any help would be appreciated.

No, the numeric keypad also does not work. After reboot, eveything works for few hours before the same problem starts again.

You need to update the firmware

That's why I changed the hard disk also. But no effect.

If the door opens to the right, what does the sensor on the screen detect? if you detect the possibility that your panel is a problem. try changing the pcb on the panel.

Known problem Must update with USB or SST
I have used Canon Imagerunner parts for sale. Most are floor model Color and / Advances Imagerunner with some 3025 3235 parts. Several intact machines being parted.

I think you can only update with SST
