    Canon CEXV-51 OPC Drum unit C5535i 3gen

First of all hello to everyone as this is my first post.

Problematic which I have is that my Drum unit on C5535i 3gen copier have defect and looking OPC section the problem is wiper blade on black OPC colour.
Printer is tottaly new and I print with that drum unit just 54800 pages. Most of pages are mono, 41 000 pages, A3 mono 9000 pages and araund 13-14000 pages are color. Density is on -0.90% for black color. The yield of that OPC is 400 000! Is it posibile that Canon use some kind of starter OPC kit and that OPC which comming with new printer is not 400 000 or not that quality?
My printer show that OPC is 9% or I have still 91% for print.

What can be problem. I dont use OEM toner on this printer but on other yes and they work fine and no any problems with damaged wiper blade drum unit.

I have picture of pritner settings which I can post as well.

Thank you all in advance for answer.

The problem is using non oem toner. And no Canon don't use starter drums on new machines

Agreed. Besides using compatible toner on 400k pages drum may be costly long therm.
I'm surprised because usually high end printers have low cost original toners, isn't that the case with Canon

Well, price of CEXV 51 toner goes from 200 euro(Amazon) and all up to 300 euro. So, comparing 1200 euro and 200 euro is... something. Right.
        Aftermarket (remany) are 50-60 euro.

I have some OPC which print over 250 000pages and they still working fine. But this one die after 55k.. strange.
Also, I notice two type of OPC section. One have black PCR cleaner and another one have yellow one.

If the compatible drum units work katun would of start selling them by now with they don't because they don't last I would say you be lucky to get 55k out of one also can't see one ever lasting 250k they just not made that good I know dealers that have tried they had so meny service calls for copy quality. As I always say buy cheap pay twice better to have a reliable machine with less call outs use oem.

I understand that but I use only OEM OPC, Canon. I never use aftermarket drums, just toners. That is why I find strange that some OPC print 400 000 pages and some just 60 000.
