[Misc] Canon DR-X10C II will not feed except in feed test in diags

    Hello All,

Seeking help with this scanner which feeds fine in feed test mode in the diags but will not feed in the scanner test on the settings page of the diags. The feed roller is running but the pick roller does not pick the paper. Message from the tool is "no paper found in the feeder". The input tray lifts, the pick roller is down initially then when the tray gets to the top and contacts the pick sensor the pick roller lifts off of the page and does not rotate. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello All,

Just to close this thread out. This issue was resolved by replacing the roller kit and resetting the life for the kit. It may be that that the sensor flag was hanging up when the old pick roller was in place too. I had tested this in diags but when the roller kit was replaced and the life was reset the device started working properly.

    Thanks

Yep, I use this site to look for solutions to problems so I figured that I'd better post the solution myself.

        Thanks
