My 4570 manual tells me this is a low fuser temp code. Fuser codes need to be reset in the service mode. Power cycle will not do it.

      E002-0010

      Hi jprecht.
E002 There is an abnormal rise in temperature.
-0010 The power has been turned off and then back on without resetting the error.
      - Reset the error: COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR
Hardworking people are not present. Simply many it is boring to idle.

enter service mode *28*>copier>option>body>w/scanner>set to 1>ok then reboot copier. This worked for me.

I have had troubles with these pesky error codes even after replacing the fixing assembly. Canon is working on a firmware update for them. the only fixes i know of for this is turning sleep mode off or replacing the surge protector. These machines are very sensitive about voltages.

                Hello jprecht,

If I have done this right, I have attached the printout of the pages in the manual that describe your error. Here goes nothin'
