hi.....
these series of canon IR copy machine are comatible in the toner cartridges C-EXV14 & the drums &blades are the same..
but if you choose the canon IR 2016J it is only copymachine so you cannot upgrade it as aprinter or scanner..the other models 2016...2016i
2020(with two cassetes... 20ppm)...they all accepts to add printer or fax modules...the canon IR2018
is the best because it is ready for network printing or scanning..so there is no need to add any modules for these functions these days we having anew canon IR2318L.. it is ready for printing... it is produced by the canon uk on MAY 2009
...but on this new canon the network is not ready as in the canon IR 2018....&after all they are all reliable & good machines..

iR2016,2020 network board option and the usb hole only for upgrading the firmware & fixing film assy. fm2-3353
iR2018,2022,2030 network board is standard as printing and scan &fixing film assy. fm3-3653
but would prefer to change the fixing complete unit after 100,000 copy
scangear using with all models above,and you can install the send option in iR2030 (color send kit)

It's a little clearer now. I see now there are 3 pages, my browser only showed the last page earlier. It does that a lot on this site, only loads the last page and not show page 3 or 3 etc...

Try Chrome or Firefox, I am using the "fox", and all looks good to me...

Glad I'm not the only one.
I use Firefox but I'll check out chrome.
I think it's my slow connection at work or me clicking too fast before it all loads. Doesn't seem to happen from home.

We have a computer customer who is using an iR2018 and the copier is connected to our XP PC with a USB cable. It stops in the middle of printing multi-page documents. Has anyone come across this issue?

It has been suggested that we update the firmware as it is currently 0.021. The copier is not in a service contract, but I am a PC technician and have updated firmware on routers and PC a lot. Would appreciate if anyone has the latest firmware and service manual to achieve this?
