Looking for large format paper advice, we have a customer in landscape management & construction looking for a paper stock that's somewhat waterproof and durable. It doesn't need to last forever but it needs to survive a Pacific Northwest job site for a little while (it rains here, a lot). They currently print on Canon 6mil Water Resistant Matte Polypropylene which is plenty waterproof but it cracks and the surface flakes off after repeated roll/unroll. Can anyone recommend a good water-resistant paper for an outdoor environment? Current Equipment is a TX-4000, they are looking for a 36" roll.

The construction industry isn't always the best place to begin your career. One of my friends owned such a company, and he had a lot of trouble keeping track of their finances because he took a chance without considering the consequences. It's a shame his business was closed and taken over by others because he had a lot of debts that he couldn't pay. I'm hoping that the next time he gets involved in anything like this, he would think twice. Here Construction industry you can read some of the reports about this industry and see some other stories that can be useful in your case.Comment
