    Canon OID values

Hi, I have a client who wants to use SNMP to monitor their Canon printers by using their internal service system.

They are looking for a list of OID for the Canon 5560 - so which code corresponds to paper level in tray, black toner etc.

    Any help would be appreciated

That's what I've found and the client, but the client has said that isn't the info he's looking for.

      Thanks for the reply

        Go to Canon's developer site:

        Developer Support

The MIB has the SNMP attributes and statuses. If that isn't what they want maybe the site will have what they do need.

The site also has driver commands and SDK kits for developers.

I'm also searching for some answers on this topic.

A customer has a custom software that distributes printjobs to two printers. But it still sends printjobs to the printer when it's offline for service etc.
I need an snmp string they can implement in their software to ask the printer "Are you ready to print" yes or no, so when a jam or a faultcode occurs it doesnt continue to receive jobs.
