I have a customer who wants to purchase one and don't know much about this unit. Any problems, concerns or issues with the IR 1025if?

The 1023's that I have, have been working pretty well, as long as they are not over taxed."Once a King, always a King, but once a Knight is enough!"

Like PP said, the 1023/1025 series isn't bad. It's a pretty small box but its good for what it is, by far better than any other comparable machine I have seen out there.
Most people in the market for the 1023/1025 aren't going to be easily sold on the IR-3225 series, its two different worlds. We have clients doing 60K a year on IR-1023's with no problems. The IR-1025 series hasn't been out long enough to confirm that they are just as well but it surely looks like the same box to me.Comment

I agree, the only time we hear from these machines are the usual toner and drum calls
For their size they come with all the features and fittings of machines many times their size. All round their a good machine.Comment

1025 issue
We just installed 5 units and the onlyproblem is the same as the 1023 "cant see the RUI when using Vista or IE7" I have beta firmware coming from Japan to fix this. I am sure it will be out soon. Other than that no other issues to report.Comment

Ok machine. However, its like a Ford Focus versus a Ford Crown Victoria. Depends on how much they print. Do not let lack of space dictate the type of machine, otherwise you will be struggling to get in and out of that little Focus and you will curse Ford and the techs who service it, when it was poor decision making that caused this. The glass maybe half full, but less is more...
Printer + Fax + Copier = Jack Of Many Trades,
but Master Of None
Color Copier = Not A Color Printer
InkJet MFP = Not A Fax Machine
B/W Copier = Not A Press
Finisher = Deal Closer (salesman, not accessory)
Copier Tech = Admin's Stress Ball (Scapegoat)Comment
