    Canon IR 6565ii

I have 5 Canon imagerunner Advance 6565ii machines that the customer wants to print 13 X 19 on. The paper trays shows, and can hold up to 13 X 19 paper, but you can't register this size on the machine. The PS3 driver gives the option to print 13 X 19 but the machine does not accept this size.
Has anyone figured out a way to get around this issue? Your help is very much appreciated as my client is very frustrated with this problem.
The specification on the machine says max size 11 X 17, but the tray has up to 13 X 19. My client wants to switch to Xerox if this issue can't be resolved.

    Thanks
    Ron

    Hello,
Since the specification state it takes 11x17 then it is , the parts inside this series cant print larger then A3 in width .

But for the length you can try and activate the long sheet option in the service mode and it will give more length when printing from the multi-purpose tray .

Not sure if available on this series but i use it on ir 8585 and other models , so u can check it.

Note that the multi-purpose tray is silly to use on production , and could face so many feeding jams and cant hold a lot of sheets at once .

So if you are willing to hold on the customer , it is best to get for him IR 8585 , it can print up to 33x48 and 33x 62 (on long sheet option) . And the machine is very reliable with very low quality issues.

    Best of luck
