    Canon IR 2530 i send trouble

    Hello

    I have a strange problem with send function with Canon IR 2530 i, namely when I configure the send function through RUI i can fix scan to mail data , when I want to enter user data in address book I can enter the user but I can't fix it. When I want to confirm the user with the ok key there is no reaction. I can enter the user via the machine but scanning to email does not work. The data is identical to that of the operating machine at the customer. There is no scan err or alarm.
    Any help welcome.

      what is the OS? win10 blocks SMB1

      what is the version of the FW on the unit?

      we need more info on the network setup for us to help you.

          Is he talking about SMB? It's hard for me to understand his post. No offense to the OP.

                  New information from IT guy.Scanning to email work ,he just had to enter data via the machine.The data you enter via RUI cannot be saved.

                          Probably a bug in RUI. Installing a new system would probably solve the problem.

                              Yeah that could be the cause.When I have time I upload a new firmware.

                                  That's good to know , I never face that before , mostly printing spool in win 10 has problem.

                                      You can enter information via the RUI but you have to manually restart the machine (depending on what was entered) afterwards for the settings to kick-in.
