    Can't scan complete document result

I using canon IR2018n M/C for scan document but the output ratio in computer is 1:0.9xx only. Is normal output for this M/C? How to adjust scan output ratio be 1:1? I using adobe acrobat pro for scan. any idea?

remark: my ratio is original : output

Sorry, it doesn't seem to be the Canon

    Hello,

I've noticed this as well with other Canon machines of varying models and Adobe Acrobat 7.0

Unfortunatlly this seems to be a querk of acorbat and so far I haven't found a cure. It seems to be the way the program compresses the file and then shows it on the page. If I scan as a jpeg to something like Photoshop and save as a photoshop .pdf the jpeg looks and prints ok but the pdf is still slightly smaller.

I am still having a poke around however so if I find anything out I'll post back.

Unfortunatlly you can't change the scan ratio for scanning like you could if doing a normal copy.

As far as I can see from the manuals you can change resolution for scan quality and the mode of the scan ie colour, halftone or greyscale but there is nothing for scan ratio.

I am in the process of trawling through the service manual to see if there is anything in there but this would effect copying as well!!!

Like I say this has become a pain in the A** as this cropped up again today with another of my customers who are scanning scaled technical drawings.
