    [Jamming] 4245 inner finisher displays external finisher and jams at sensor 103

    a machine we have run for a year or more started to jam at finisher with no deformation to paper. looking into the jam log it displays an external finisher and sensor 103 stationary jam.
    after printing the p-print and cross referencing another 4245 in the field the only thing i found off was a blank in the finisher type under version.

    has anyone seen anything like this, maybe same board in external finisher and a dip switch is wrong?

    same finisher that has run 100k for us

      Replacing the gripper assembly seems to fix all of the problems I have seen on the inner finishers.

          issues fixed with replacing sorter, i tried a working board in this sorter, but it gave me the same issues ..jamming at exit etc.

          i believe there is a short in the harness or a motor ..
