1. I have got an old machine of this model with a Scan to USB Licence and I wish to transfer it to a new one. How can this be done?

2. What is the procedure of purchasing new licences from Canon.

You can do it level 2 Service Mode > COPIER > OPTION > LCNS-TR

The idea is you go into service mode and transfer the licence, that now gives you a number that you provide to canon and the serial number of the device its being transferred to.



You can also do this from the remote user interface according to the service manual.
