IR3300i eroor in faxing.cannot receive fax. Need help.

Hi all,

I am encountering a problem with my copier. currently i am unable to receive faxes but i am able to fax out. I have ran some test and realized that there was no pickup or divert to fax. It was just a normal ring tone that did not divert to fax.

did anyone face this issue before? would appreciate some help with this. is this a settings issue?

Has any one changed the phone socket the machine is pluged into? i.e. the phone number... The fax dosent mind what number it is sending out on but an incoming fax will come to a dead end and just ring out ?????????????

Make sure the customer hasn't set the machine to Manual RX. If they do that it will ring and ring and never pick up unless you manually pick up. It should be set to Auto RX.
