[Jamming] IPressC700 Jam Code 0118.

Hi to all,

We are facing a strenge Jam code 0118 on duplex printing with three IPressC700 with the same customer. They are in the medical field. All their prints are on coated media. The issue starts when the machines have reached around 1 200 000 prints.

The simplex ix working fine.

We have performed the following steps:
1- Replaced the below spare parts and the Jam issue is not resolved.
- FC0-9759-000 Roller paper feed. Qty =01
- FC9-8388-000 Roller dupexing. Qty = 03
- XF2-1607-040 Belt, timing Qty = 02
- XG9-0475-000 Bearing ball Qty = 08
2- We have swapped the duplex motors and the fixing/feeder driver PCB assembly and the Jam issue is still not resolved.

3- When swapping the fixing/feeding assembly (with a working machine), the jam has been resolved.

Please, share if any experience.

what is the media gsm used? is the media changed recently ?

i would suggest you to change all the gears related to the timing belts.

The jam is with all types of media and sizes.

something seems not right, most of this duplex issue occurs on high gsm media or low gsm media .

I want you to remove the registration unit and check if there is any torn piece of paper there blocking the paper path .

did you check /Clean the duplex path followers and bushings ?
