Re: Canon C3530i
you quoted blackcat but you used my name?
what are you with me on? that you don't know LEF or SEF? i would say SEF since you state there is the defect on the left hand side of the belt.
was the cleaner unit BRAND NEW? or rebuild? did you make sure the blade in the cleaner was properly powdered? if a used belt cleaner did you vaccume it out?
are you sure the rollers in the ITB are coming up properly and not dipping or not contaminated .
please tell us they are using genuine OEM supplies!
is the machine clean inside? laser lenses ?
is the mark on the old drum unit?
soo many things you haven't explained.

Re: Canon C3530i
I think you're missing the point. Transfer waste is always composite black ... sort of a cross between brown and purple. Even on single color images the transfer belt is used, and the transfer waste will still be composite black. Keep in mind that when doing single color images all the developer units are agitating, all the drums rotating, etc. So if there is a line on the black drum, or the black drum isn't cleaning, you'll still see that black line on the all yellow single color image. =^..^=Leave a comment:

Re: Canon C3530i
So the next thing to determine is, what color is it really? K: black or composite black? If its K: black, I'd look at black imaging components. BUT, I suspect that it's composite black, which means that the primary transfer belt is probably not cleaning. You should be able to pull the primary transfer belt at any time and see the residue on the belt. =^..^=Leave a comment:

Re: Canon C3530i
The sample you show looks like the shading correction adjustment sheet. Did you try doing a shading correction before this issue started ?Leave a comment:
