replaced stors and stat. came back two days later, went back w-the upper f unit out of another 5000 worked for a day came back. going tomorrow with the ac driver. should i also bring the dc cont. with me. thanks t

Before replacing the AC driver, check the connectors on the fusing side and the copier side for any debris inside or damage to the connector itself.
I have had success by installing shims(washers) between the fusing connector and the fuser frame.
Also check the latching mechanism for free movement-from the locking lever on the back of the fuser all the way to the latch by the green release lever. Fuser oil gets down thgere and gums it up so sometimes the unit doesn't lock in place well.
Try removing the cable ties from the harness going to the DC controller and loosening up those wires.

Another item to check is the themo sensors. Normally when we get this error, we just rebuild the fixing assy.Comment
