    Canon C5840i and C5740 inversions during duplex scanning

    If they scan landscape duplex using booklet mode it is fine. If they scan portrait in booklet mode, back side is upside down. Tried in office, same thing. Firmware is current. Any thoughts?
    I've proved mathematics wrong. 1 + 1 doesn't always equal 2.........

    the workaround is to set up the device in this way:
    FUNCTION SETTINGS>COMMON>SCAN SETTINGS>AUTO SET DIFFERENT SIZE ORIGINAL WHEN USING FEEDER
    settings to ON

      or scan in OCR, doesn't matter which way document is placed
