    Canon IR Adv 8105 E808-03/08

    Hi,
I am facing a problem with ir adv 8105. I have changed thermistors and rollers, but e808-03 and e808-08 come time after time.
Error 808-03 is FM7 because of clogging but 808-08 cant find it.
    Any help is really appreciated.

I had the same code on a 6255 and it ended up being the AC driver

i would suggest you to dismantle the heater and install it again . check the connections , wires , bent pins , clean from dust .

if the error persist , tell me i will guide you further

        Hi,
I changed AC Driver PCB Assy (FM4-1088) and IH POWER SUPPLY PCB ASS'Y (FM4-1092) and still the same.

The temperature of FIX UE and FIX UE2 is higher than FIX U by 5-6 degrees during printing.
After 1 minute in this state the error comes up.
Can it be heater or side thermistors?
In any rare case it shows up E01-03

If your getting E001 error , and the heater is heating up then you need to check this connector at the rear.

I need to know the upper fixing condition, and the thermistors (main and the 2 sub) ? you can replace the thermistors .

you can also check the fuses of the fixing powee supply pcb (Pcb10) . i dont think so but better check it specially FU19.

If all of this didnt help, you can try the main driver pcb (pcb2)

And a last option i would think of a Dc Controller issue ( you can try clearing Dc Con Also).

              best of luck

The cooling plastic above the fuser unit (also under Fuser IH), was broken and the heat caused E808-8.
Thank you so much all of you.

Thank you for updating on the issue and how it was solved

This should be the case for every case.

If you have some photos for the broken plastic would be good .
