The Canon NP-6035 does not have corona wires, it uses charge rollers. Try a new drum unit, check to be sure it does not have the wrong toner in the machine.
    Good luck!

If you clean ALL the optics including the blank exposure assembly you should get a good copy as long as the cq adjustments are in spec or close. But those optics have to be clean or you're going to make unnecessary adjustments.

If you can manage to dig up a copy of the service manual the steps to adjust the exposure are in it.

i suspect the drum if you havent tweaked much around the other units besides cleaning.
a machine is only as good as your tech : source:screwtape ; the scary one

Like they have said, make sure the unit is cleaned, the blank lamp assy is removed after removing the inner front (gray) cover then two screws on frame above the drum cavity and a connector then the unit can be removed. The drum must be programmed in *3* mode under primary and offset (the two values written on the front of the drum unit you will enter) after that you must initiate settings in *4* mode for them to take effect. There are several exposure settings you will find in the *3* service menu. It is very important to program the drum settings listed on the front of the drum unit.
