[Jamming] Canon IR Advance C5235 indicates jamming paper, even though there are no jam

My Canon IR Advance C5235 indicates jamming paper, even though there are no jam.

    Procedure:
The machine starts to process the job, when it tries to pickup the paper, it produce a paper jam instead. Opening all covers and trays indicate there's nothing jammed, and when closing them the printer tries again.
This happens for both A4 and A3, the A4 prints I eventually got to work (after some opening and closing), but I have a booklet to print with A3 that refuses to pickup the paper.

    Thoughts:
    - I have recently moved this machine, can it be that I put the trays back in the wrong places (I don't know how they were placed before, and I have 4 of them)?
    - Should I clean the pickup rollers?

    Tia,

    Hello ,

You can first try changing the tray and test.

Check in the service mode what sensor is jamming what is the type of jam.

This will lead you to what is your problem

Changing the A3 tray to one tray lower actually did the job! Thanks!

      Questions:
      - Is it possible to enter service mode with remote management?
      - When entering service mode on the machine itself, what is the next step here?

There is a remote panel viewer that you can install and use. I am not 100% certain that it works on the 52 series devices, but it might be worth a shot.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

Service mode -> mode list -> Copier
          Under display -> Jam

Click on the first on the list and take me a picture of the screen .

It will state your jam issue.

It could the pickup rollers are out of place , a torn sheet in the assembly or the rollers needs replacement
