    NP 6035

    I am getting an E004 on a NP 6035. I have limited experience on these machines ,basically I think its fuser so I checked the Heater Lamps, Thermisters, thermo switch . all seems fine. any suggestions?

      Reset error in service mode .. then see if it reoccurs .. Have seen this problem caused by power cuts / fluctuations or even by heavy machenery starting up nearby....

          Froozen has provided a list of items that can cause this error, and the one that glares at me is the thermoswitch. I have seen these open up, and then reclose when the unit cools down, and then re-opening again after heat is added. Kind of a self healing effect, when they are supposed to fail, and stay open. The lamps when open, stay open.

          Let us know what you find out...

            zaza: no thanks this is one of the last analog machines which i am having . i will be throwing this out on someone elses head as soon as i get this working
