    Sorter Problem....with IR6000

    1) The printing for my machine will be o.k if i put only one piece of paper on the feeder. The printing will come out exactly as i want but ....

a ) if i put two pieces or more on the feeder, the paper will not come out from the sorter.. I tried to check with the roller in the sorter and the roller does not move in order to allow the papar to pass throught it.

b ) I do not know what is the problem because if i put one piece of paper on the feeder... The roller in the sorter will move again.

c ) What can i do in order to let the paper pass the sorter because the gear and the belt for the roller is still good in functioning....Or is there anything wrong with my sorter ??

    during multi copies jams right....

on the fixing side there is a guide that moves the paper to reverse during multi copies, check your paper reversal guide on the rear side there is a small white plastic that holds a small spring that makes the reversal guide to flip... check it out the plastic is broken that holds the spring...

      multi copies

Checked already the small white plactic which hold the spring but still cannot do multi copies.....

The machine can do multi copies if i put papers on the bypass but it cannot sort out your paper according to the sets you want....

Yes... it cracked... and now i am removing it ... I do not have the spare part here .. so i just fix it with the Canon 6045 PART...Not doing well and still remain the same problem...

Anyway. Do you think the problem come from the solenoid ??

you already said that the plastic spring holder is cracked... dont put your mind on the solenoid its not the problem.......

"remedy" the plastic holder or replaced it with a new one... if i am in front of your machine that problem is easy and i'll be charging you $200 for a 5 minutes work......

use your imagination how you can remedy that broken plastic spring holder....
