Need ADF hinge for Canon imageCLASS D780 Copier

Hi Guys,

My first post here.

I am still using an old trusty Canon imageCLASS D780 Copier. Has worked flawlessly for years.

Today I noticed one of the ADF hinges broken. Plastic shattered, likely due to age.
Would like to replace it.

This is a D700 series copier that came in a bunch of similar models like D760, D761, D780, etc.
Could be the same as part # FC5-0011-000 from a D860, but not sure that one fits.

I can not find a parts schematic to the imageCLASS D700 series anywhere online.

Can anyone offer a lead as to where I may be able to find one?
And whether this is the correct part # that I am chasing?

Thanks @Brian8506 for confirming the part number. Will try hunting for it on the internet bit more.

Or, may have to fabricate something to replace the hinge.
Seems sad to have to throw away a perfectly good copier for such a small, but important, part.

Maybe someone else will have an idea on how to make a replacement?
Or where to find a used one. Nothing on eBay or other places I checked.
