Working on 1 of these machines that has 0C10 codes listed on the jam report. I saw comments on a 6065 machine with that code here that mention gummy bushings as 1 possible solution. I think someone mentioned there was a bulletin or something and those were replaced by bearings.
Looking in the parts book for the 6555i- XG9-0365-000 part #7 in the FIG 810B Fixing Ass'y. Is that 1 of these bearings that was being talked about (well bushings initially). Someone else mentioned I think a delivery roller that looked like it may be on that door that opens up just past the fuser.
Our guy looked at that and cleaned that area...said it wasn't dirty at all.
This machine has 700,000+ pages. About 150,000 pages ago, the UFR Assy was replaced with a rebuilt unit from Hytec and we replaced the Pressure Roller and its bearings.
The machine has some of these jams 1 day, none the next day. Never happens when we are there. Account is using Staples paper- called Tru Red nowadays. "We always have used that"
We have ordered 2 photointerrupters near the exit of the fuser. 1 think they call the toenail sensor. And there was 1 kind of near that.
