print prompt imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 4751i

Hi, I'm looking for a driver for this copier, that allows network printing but shows a prompt where the user must enter the password to start printing.
The password or code must match the one saved in the address book. For now there is only one user, I actually do not intend to register all the users but if I really have to do it, then I will.

thanks but I would like to proceed differently. the user does not have to access the copier panel but simply launches the print from the PC but a password must be requested via prompt. How do you create/modify the driver to achieve this goal?

Maybe I wasn't clear. I would need to learn how to modify/customize the original canon driver to include a prompt. With Ricoh copiers I know it was possible, I don't know if it's as simple on Canon ones.

in the meantime some good man can give me some guidance, I have installed GPlus_PCL6_Driver_V310_32_64_00.exe on a PC
I can launch prints without having to type a password but I don't want it to be possible to print freely
it seems strange, because from the remote UI, in the control panel settings, under "Select function that will require authentication", I checked all the functions, including printing.
Perhaps this setting only takes effect when working from the copier panel, while what should be set to limit prints from a PC?

Thanks for your help but I solved it. I just looked more carefully in the printer properties. Then, when the user launches the print, a box appears for entering a password that must match the password of a user in the address book.
I would like the password entry to appear on the copier panel instead of on the PC, but I guess that's not feasible, right?
Otherwise on the PC, I would like to customize the message displayed in the password entry window, for example with "wait for the operator to enter the password".

There are 2 ways. 1. User print-display enter password on PC-enter correct password - printer print out. 2 user print- display box for set password- whenever going to copier - enter correct password that was set- printer will print

the first way is the one that is currently set. I didn't understand the second way, can the PC user set a password? I didn't understand well.
The password must be set by the PC administrator, not by the user who wants to print, right? The set password is not saved in the copier's address book, right?

No,this password like PIN code from printer driver, it' s not User Password. You can see video below.

I didn't know about secure print, it seems that my model doesn't have it. I don't understand the purpose of secure print, the user sets a disposable pin to queue the print and to print it when he wants later?

Thank you for your help. This feature, secure print, is not what I'm looking for right now. The average user in my organization will never change the printing properties, the most he will want to do is enable/disable double-sided.

Sercure Print you can set 1 times and it will be default. Everytime user make a print, it display a box request password .After user make a print job, machine then no print out for sercurity purpose ( another user can read content, stolen document, or waste papers when user forget to take,..) . When user go to machine, enter correct Pin then document will print out, if user forget, print job will be deleted after period time

thank you for letting me know about this feature, certainly useful but I was trying to control the users' prints, so my goal is different: the user must not be able to print independently but must wait for the collaborator to enter the password to proceed with printing.
