    Canon imagepress c6010 Dens problem

    Hello there,

I have Canon c6010 abnormal dens problem.
In ground works, the dens value decreases to -5%, the machine gives error e020-0481-05. In normal jobs, the dens value is around -2.50%.
I changed the developer and the drum today, the problem does not go away. I cleaned the atr sensor many times, the result did not change. I cleaned the laser and the result did not change. I use oem toner.
    please help 82754edf-7617-4794-add5-b65a3a6b93d5.jpg

        Hello again,

Starter is new. I have made all the necessary adjustments.
but the machine seems to be unable to transfer the required amount of toner to the developer unit.
        waiting for your valuable ideas

                I performed the PT-LPADJ process.
but after 100 prints the error came back.
dens value decreased to 6% for black.
                I couldn't find a solution

Do u have another developing unit to test on it?

If not try swapping the sensor with another unit.

And Check is the developing pressure good? When u push the unit to the drum , check if there is anything not right.

Send me a 50% black Pg and 100% black Pg.

                  Try swapping coronas

After cleaning the black patch sensor and performing the PT-LPADJ,check the values of Dens/window K.it shoud be around 1000 and also the value of P-DA-k and compare it to the values of the 3 other colors.if it is clean,it should give a low value;otherwise it means that the sensor is still dirty and should be replaced.

There is a thin plastic film on the sensor;so this sensor should never be cleaned with alcohol or any other solvent;you can use a blower to clean it.

Hope this info would be of some help to resolve this issue.

                      Hello again

I did the PT-LPADJ process. window value 1000
I removed the patch sensor and cleaned it.
I cleaned all the toner pipes + subhopper to see if it was clogged.
but the result did not change. the toner flow is fine up to the subhopper, but there is a problem between the developer tank and the toner calculation.
When I rotate the subhopper with my hand, the dens value is recovered. but the machine itself does not supply enough toner to the deveopler tank, the dens value drops to -6%, the machine gives e20 code.
                      I request your valuable help.

You can also try swapping the patch sensor.

                        Best of luck

                            [Symptom]

Unit displayed a E020-0381. Patch sensors were cleaned, the code changed to E020-0481.
                            • E020-0x81: Lower limit error in light intensity on drum base (reflecting light intensity from the drum surface). DISPLAY > DENS > P-B-P-Y/M/C/K (Measured value of drum base) < 150 (x= 1: Y, 2: M, 3: C, 4: Bk)

                            [Remedy]

In this case, the Cyan Developer Assembly, was replaced to resolve this issue.
