Canon image runner 400i display E748-2010 when I disconnected the harddrive it will display 602-0001 when I change the hard it will still display the E748-2010 please need help on this thanks in advanced.

Did you format and init the hdd?

This means that the MN con pcb is good since it recognises the absence of HDD(E602-0001) and most probably,the flash pcb is defective.

You can try,first,to start the machine in safe mode(2+8) with a usb key containing the firmware .if you succeed,you can format the flash pcb and reinstall the firmware.

Otherwise,you will have to order a new flash pcb from Canon.(Flash pcb does not have any parts number).You will have to make a special request to Canon.
