Canon IR ADV C5035 copy quality issue

Hello, I am having an issue where my company prints swimming pool blueprints on 11x17. when the plans are drawn up on a computer and printed they look fine and are legible. however if someone makes a copy using the ADF or Glass scanner the copies come out messed up. I am not sure what is causing the issue but i am attaching 2 pictures. one is a normal print and one is a copy. any help would be appreciated! Thank you!Good.jpgbad.jpg

Looks like an issue with the CCD, try cleaning it before replacing.
