Change machine serial number

We purchased these 2 Canon ImageRUNNER Advance C5535 & C5560 units recently. But upon testing, we found that the printers' serial numbers on its printouts are different from and machine stickers on the body.

Is there a way to change this to match the body serial numbers? I remember Toshiba MFPs has these on its service mode also. Thanks in advance.

Not on the Canon, the serial number are on the hidden counter chips, there was an exchange of counter chips on the copier or change of rear case
