Canon ir advance 6255i SRA3 or 330x483mm paper size

    Hi,
    I'm struggling with a situation.
In the paper drawer 3 and 4 on my Canon 6255i I can put SRA3 or even lager (330x483mm) paper, but if I put this kind of paper in the drawer it shows empty.
With A3 paper works fine, but if I put SRA3 or larger it shows the drawer empty, and I can't find anywhere to set the paper to SRA3 or 330x483mm.
If I go to custom size from the touch panel, the maximum size I can input is 297x487.7, but I need to print on at least 320mm wide.
I don't understand why it won't show, or why I can't select SRA3 or larger size on the screen if I can put it in the drawer. And on the drawer I see written guides for SRA3 or 330x483mm.
Even if I put SRA3 in the manual tray, the printer asks what is the size of the paper, and I don't have SRA3 to select.
On my other Canon, I have a C5250i I can select SRA3 from the manual tray, but I can't put SRA3 in the drawer because it's too small and I don't have written guides for SRA3 in the drawer.
Is there something I have to enable from the Service Menu or the printer simply does not support SRA3 or larger? I can't believe it doesn't support SRA3 if it's written inside the drawer.
Thank you, and I apologize for my engish.

The adv6255 and the 8295 series share a common cassette but the fusers are different. Even though the cassette allows loading of the paper you have, it will not fit through the engine on the 6255 so it will not acknowledge the paper being present. The 5250 has it's own unique limitations, it shares nothing with the 6255. As these are old models becoming obsolete for parts, next time try to get a adv7500/7700 or 8500/8700.

Thank you! Now it makes sense if the two models share the same cassette.
