Canon 2545i problem on copying through the ADF

Hi fellow technician,
I have Canon 2545i copier. When I copy through the ADF with the size of A4 , the output have margin of 2 centemeters.It means that the copier shifts image 2cm to below.We select tray with size of A4 but it seems the copiers detects it as letter.
And when I copy on the glass, everything is normal.
Any idea what should I do?

Attach a sample copy, it will be easier to say something.

Do you have the cassette set right? Do this happen from both cassettes. Some models had cassettes that had a lever for A/B or Inch.

Looking to see if this has one.

Do not see one for this machine. Make sure you pull out the cassette and check for paper behind the cassette. This sometimes will make it look for a different size paper.
