Canon Ir2220i - E602-0003

Have already changed the hard drive, reloaded the software and today I get this error E602 - 0003. Do not see anything for 0003. We were having a problem with it booting, just would never come to ready. Worked a week after new hard drive, and now is.

E602-003 is a sector error try this hold down 1 and 9 at the same time when turning on the machine hold for 6to 8 seconds it will do hd check take about 20 minutes..do not stop once started turn off machine when it comes t download mode...it will end if no faults is emcountered.. look at GTI_t158B

If you put a new hard drive, try another one. I know that it might suck to do so but sometimes these things do happen. Where did you get the HD from? You can try to get HD from a company called HYTECH or you can send your damage HD's to them. If you are unsuccessful to get the machine up you can also have a bad main controller. If the 1&9 function doesn't start to scan the hd you definitely have a bad HD. Goodluck.

Did it work at all with new HDD ? If not did you use the right firmware as IR2220 and 2220i are different.
