Copier works great when copying an using finisher. The problem begins when you send a multiple print job. 5 sheets will come out and the copier will stop and not give any jam or error display when you pull finisher away to open the left side error e 500 ff11 displays on screen and no jam indication, jams are in face down unit right before getting to finisher paper sticks out about 1/4 inch from exiting to finisher. tested direct with laptop same problem. removed driver from customers computer and reinstalled latest driver then tested again and had the same problem when printing multiple. when finisher is removed from the copier the machine runs great when printing multiples with no errors. we tried another finisher and had the same issue when printing multiples. tried another dc controller and had the same problem.
we have an n version boot room with no C1 fiery
is there a setting on the interface that we need to change??
I've never had that problem but here's a few things I would do:
-Make sure the correct finisher is selected in the print driver.
-Try different drivers - PCL, PS, UFR.
-Reseat all boards, ram and rom on main controller.
-Load newest System software. If it's already new, format and reinstall.

any ideas out there??

This is a communication error, make sure the finisher's control pcb have the correct firmware to communicate with the machines DC controller. Which finisher are you using, I gotta admit this is a weird one. I would update firmware and DC CON if I were you for starters. If you tried two finisher chances are there some sort of miscommunication coming from the 3200.
